The Opening Session of Research Consultations for Artists in Transition is a 90-minute session where we map your current placement and design pathways for sustainable creative practice for this cycle of your artistic life. This is not coaching - more like artistic, existential thought partnership and strategizing—treating your practice like the complex ecosystem it actually is.
So, what do we explore?
We look at what's actually working (and what's quietly draining you):
Financial systems → How money moves through your practice, where it gets stuck, what models might fit better than the ones you inherited
Exhibition strategy → Which opportunities build your work vs. which extract from it
Death literacy → Legacy planning, archival thinking, what needs composting before the new can emerge
Sustainable practice → The daily ritual infrastructure that lets you keep making work without burning out
So, how does this work?
The Opening Session is designed as your entry point into deeper work. If you book The Opening (3-month container) within 14 days, your full session cost is credited - making your total investment $1,800-1,850 instead of $2,000. This is an invitation to see if sustained partnership serves your practice.

$150-200 Opening Session (90 min, sliding scale based on your income)
Full session cost credited toward The Opening if you continue and book within 14 days
So: Pay $150 for session → book The Opening → only pay $1,850 more (total $2,000)
